There's a poster hanging up on the wall, where water drops down from some unseen height into a pool of some unidentifiable body of water, creating ripples. It is meant to be inspirational. Some crap about how one dribble of water can cause ripples, can make waves. As if(more) the droplet isn't just joining the crowd, as if the ripples last.
Inspirational posters are ridiculous. They depict some puddle with a raindrop, or a stack of rocks, acting as if these things are meaningful. They act as if these things properly represent the struggles humans go through or touch the vast potential in all of us, the darkness and the light.
Don't show me a poster. Show me what I can do and watch me overcome even that. (less)
