This is my lesson plan to get you all ready for the day when you bring whole marriages crashing to the ground with a mistake. Once you get past shame and dignity, you can really open up your varieties of mistakes. First, let's all try a quik speling mistake. See(more)? That was easy. If you feel compelled to go back and fix it, it is only natural, but in this classroom, I urge you not to.
Next, I want you to tell an inappropriate joke to a coworker- there is extra credit if it can count as harassment!
Fantastic! Now, I want you to take stock of what is happening to you mentally and physically. You may notice a reddening of your skin and perspiration. This may be accompanied by hot or cold flashes and even nausea. There is a remedy for this, but it comes with practice- just like building up your liver's tolerance to poison!
The mental game is the hard part, though. While it is difficult to master calm in the face of impending loss of face and/or job, I believe you can accomplish this!
Imagine, if you will, a large thunderhead. This thunderhead cares not for the people it harms or the tornadoes it spawns--it's a fucking cloud. Be that fucking cloud. Imagine you are that cloud and the shitstorm you just initiated is your own personal tornado.
Now that you have mastered mistakes that disrupt only your own sense of well-being, let's try making a mistake that will affect others around you. Guys, here's an easy one for you- "accidentally" send a rude picture to a member of your wife's (or husband's) family. If you can remember your training, you will be that thunderhead!

(more) And such is Typetrigger.
Nothing, and I mean not one thing in this place we call life, remains the same always.
Everything changes in one way or another. Things ebb and flow and all those other cliches. We really can't control events as much as we'd like.
Oh sure, we like to pretend we have control over some things but for every single one of us,life can change on a dime and sometimes there's not a damn thing we can do about it.
What does this have to do with fantastic Typetrigger you ask?
Ok I'll tell you anyway.
There's been periods of slowness around these here parts lately. By slowness I mean The Case Of The Disappearing Writers as in where the hell did everyone go?
Life, that's where.
(insert graphic of chorus-line of Typetrigger writers dancing Rockettes-style singing"That's Life"-jazz hands optional)
In my perfect world, We, aka Typetrigger Writers, are able to write here always, at least once a day, although, since we're talking 'perfect-world', make that four times a day.
Gets in the way sometimes and keeps us away from here.
Things happen outside these wonder-filled boxes, babies born (I'm looking at you Mr&Mrs TSevenhuysen-congrats!)
jobs lost and found, love of all kinds, life stuff.
Sometimes priorities rear their ugly heads and while our minds may be buzzing with words needing to be released we can't always feed the beast when we want to.
So we do what we have to secure in the knowledge that when we're able,we can type the trigger fantastic.
If home is where the heart is then Typetrigger is where I live.
Don't be a stranger,stop by for a visit anytime.(less)
