The evidence in his defense is incontrovertible. Security footage shows that Mr. Mbasse didn't leave the office until 19:47 IST which, according to an exhaustive autopsy, was roughly an hour and twenty minutes after the alleged murder had taken place. Additionally, his last e-mail was sent 13 minutes 6(more) seconds before departing. NCS agents could find no evidence of automation or tampering upon seizing the work station for evidence at 21:18 of the same day. NCS certified keylogging data supplied by the employer corroborates this evidence.
At 19:49 security cameras show Mr. Mbasse hailing a cab from the front steps of the NACS office building. GPS data supplied by the cab company confirms that he was dropped off at his place of residence at 20:03. Fingerprint-activated credit card used to pay for services rendered. Confirmed use of SSID chip (location: left wrist, anterior) as means of identification upon entering residence. Social-media metadata suggests an 86.4% correlation with Mbasse's normal evening activity. He was never within 25 miles of the murder site on the day in question.
The evidence implicating Mr. Mbasse is also incontrovertible. DNA evidence collected from fluid samples places him at the scene of the crime. Bite marks on the victim's neck and forearm match dental records retrieved from his HMO. At 18:05, CTA security cameras show Mbasse disembarking from the northbound train at Kingsland Station, a few paces behind the victim. External cameras show the victim entering the park across the street, with Mbasse clearly in pursuit. Granules of dirt found in Mbasse's apartment match the soil profile of the riverwalk. DNA samples taken from his bathroom sink (and under his nails!) match that of the victim.
Four cases just like it this month. I think it's fair to say we're dealing with a criminal mastermind here.(less)
